This page explains, in plain language, what data we process and why. Last updated: 2026-10-02.
SeekinWeb (seekinweb.com) is a service that measures how AI assistants see a website. For any question about your data, write to us through the contact form (seekinweb.com/contacto).
When you scan a site we store the address you enter (public) and the scan result, to build the report and its link. To prevent abuse, we store the IP address that scans, forms and listing claims were sent from.
To find out what the AI answers, we send AI model providers buyer questions plus the business name and domain, which are public information. We do not send them your personal data.
We only process it if you give it to us: when you buy (Stripe passes it to us so we can deliver what you bought), request alerts, claim a listing or write to us. We use it to provide the service and send what you asked for. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.
Stripe processes them. We never see or store your card details.
We count visits on our own server with a daily identifier computed from the IP and browser mixed with a secret value (a hash); the IP is not stored in analytics. We use no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
Like any web server, we log the IP, date, path and browser of each request for security. They are deleted after 14 days.
Server logs you upload to the AI bot analyzer are processed in memory and discarded when we respond: they are not stored.
We publish the names of businesses an AI assistant publicly mentions when answering questions for a category and city, with the date. We never publish users' scans. Any business can ask for removal through the contact form.
Hetzner (server in Germany, European Union), Cloudflare (network and protection), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and AI model providers (public business information only).
We keep data while the service needs it or until you ask for deletion. Daily backups are kept for about 30 days.
You can request access, correction, deletion or objection by writing to us through the contact form. If you think we did not handle your request properly, you can complain to your country's data protection authority.
